My Skin Care Routine

As a young teen I thought my self about skin care. I don't know what causes is it, but the women in my family get the most horrendous, deep, nasty zits on our face, and it's always  just one large zit! Now we all know that even one zit can make you feel unattractive or they just out you in a bad mood. From the time I turned 13 I started washing my face every single night before I went to bed. I noticed a huge difference in my skin when I first started having a nightly skin care routine. My skin was much brighter, softer and most importantly I was getting less nasty break outs.

I wants to share my skin care routine with everyone because it's so important to keep our skin healthy and fresh. Did you know that every time you sleep with your make up on you age FIVE DAYS? How crazy is that? It doesn't sound like a lot, but if you sleep with your make up on every night imagine how fast that can add up. Not only does it age you but you will be more prone to break outs and even eye infections.

Can is just take a minute to tell you how obsessed I am with my clarisonic
This thing has made my skin do a 180. If you don't own it, you need to invest in getting one. Yes it's a little expensive but it is worth every single penny! They have many different heads that you can buy depending on your skin type.

So here is goes! My skin care routine
(My nightly routine)
Step one:
I cleanse my face twice using my Really, Really Clean Cleanser by Amino Genesis
I cleanse once with my finger tips to remove my make up and the second time with my Clarisonic to cleanse my skin.

Step two:
After cleansing I use my moisturizer by DDF. I apply generously.

(My weekly routine)
Step one:
I cleanse with my a Really, Really Clean Cleanser using my Clarisonic, only one time

Step two:
I use my exfoliator by First Aid Beauty . It's very important you don't use this with your Clarisonic. Only use with your finger tips.

Step three:
I pat dry my skin and then apply my hydrating mask and I leave it on for about 10 minutes. This mask is great for any skin type. It makes my skin feel so soft and evens out any discoloration.

Step Four:
Time to moisturize and hit the pillow for bed time!

I hope you guys enjoyed my skin care routine! Feel free to ask any questions about the products I use. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!

My Top 5 Favorite Styling Products

These are my top 5 favorite styling products that almost everyone can use. Working behind the chair I get a lot of questions like "Why should I use styling products?" "Is it important to use styling products?"
The answer is YES,YES,YES!!!

Using styling products not only make your life a lot easier when styling your hair but they also help to keep your hair healthy, strong, and shiny. Most styling products have a heat protector in them which help prevent split ends and the ends feeling dry.

With these 5 styling products you can create any look from smooth straight hair to beach textured waves.
My top picks
1. Moroccan Oil: Volumizing Mousse
2. Unite: Boosta Spray
3. Unite: 7 Seconds Leave In Conditioner
4. Blowpro: Faux Dry
5. Moroccan Oil Treatment

I love Unite products, they are definitely my favorite product line out there. These two products are a must have!

7 Seconds:
7 seconds is a leave in conditioner, detangler, heat protector and UV protector.
Hair type: If you have hair you should own this product.  This product works on any type of hair from thick and coarse to baby fine hair.
How to use: After getting out of the shower towel dry you hair. Spritz from mid-shaft to ends, let it sit for 7 Seconds and comb through!

Boosta Spray:
This is a light weight Volumizing spray. Boosta gives you just enough volume and texture to make you feel sexy but still gives a natural look.
Hair Type: Boosta is made for Fine to Medium hair.
How to use: After applying 7 Seconds spray Boosta Spray on your roots and crown area. The nice thing about Boosta is you can spray and go or you and use a large round brush for defined volume.

Moroccan Oil Volumizing Mousse
This isn't just your typical mousse. This mousse gives a lot of texture and volume but has a lot of nutrients in it that not only adds amore shine but also keeps your hair moisturized and healthy. I'd say on a scale level this hold is about a 6/10.
Hair type: This is for fine to medium hair and curly hair
How to use: This mousse can be used in many different ways. I like to use this with my Boosta spray on damp hair for lot of volume and I use my large round brush al the root to really get that lift. If you have curly hair this is a great product to use from roots to end. It styles wonderfully with a diffuser or even works great on air dryed curls. I always use about a gold ball sized amount in the roots and crown area.

Moroccan Oil Treatment
In today's world every product line is trying to replicate or make an Oil. They are so popular and there are so many different ones out on the market. The reason this one is my favorite is because it's the most healing and has the most consistent results. This is the only oil on the market that actually deeply penetrates the hair all the way to the middle of the hair shaft. You can get soft shiny hair in an instant!
Hair type: This works great on unruly frizzy hair, over processed and damaged hair. Can be used on most hair types, but I wouldn't recommend it if your hair is baby fine.
How to use: You can use the oil on wet and dry hair. I always put this on my hair before I Blowdry on mid shaft to my ends. You can Blowdry it in or just let it air dry. For curly hair this does wonders, the oil makes it so much easier to smooth out when blow drying. Moroccan oil can also be used after using a flat iron or curling iron to add shine and to tame any extra frizzies going on.

Blowpro: Faux Dry
Does your hair get oily by the end on the day? Do you have a hard time getting volume in your hair? If you answered yes to any of these questions you need this product! It's a translucent power designed to absorb any natural oil from the scalp and adds a bit on texture to the hair.
Hair type: fine hair, oily hair, lifeless hair
How to use: I use this on clean hair and days where I just doing feel like washing my hair. You can use this on the roots after blowdrying your hair to give it that second day look with more volume. Or you can litterly use it on the second day. Squeeze the bottle gently so the little poofs come out and aim it towards your roots. Use on hair line and crown area.

I hope you all enjoyed my top 5 favorite products! Have a fabulous day! Xoxo
